This medium tote bag is made from vintage Marimekko coated cotton/oil cloth "Nekku" (Lollipop) designed by Katsuji Wakisaka in 1972. The bold pattern has a strong Japanese flavor with simple flowers on black. The bottom of the tote is lined with smaller flowers on beige.
The bag has a small pocket on the inside for your phone or other essentials. It has a magnetic snap that will keep the bag closed. The bag is fully lined with another gorgeus Marimekko reproduction fabric "Kaneliruusu" (Cinnamon Rose), which was designed by Erja Hirvi in 1951.
